    An end to the F1 Stewardship debacles?



    The FIA has implemented an overhaul of their stewards' system from next year after heavy criticism throughout this year's campaign. As of 2009, stewards will actually have to prove they are qualified for the job, penalties will be explained and they will be handed down during - not after - the race...

    Hmm, so if you cut the very last corner and gain an advantage.........

    Still, it is good that they realize something needs to be done.

      As if any team would ever think like that!
      Though there is a clause about 'unless it needs to be investigated afterwards' which I gues would be used in such circumstances.

        That's an improvement, but I still think it should be the same group of officials at each race to maintain consistency, which was the biggest problem
        When you own your own business you only have to work half a day. You can do anything you want with the other twelve hours.
