Yup...called the reasonable person standard - in this case what would a reasonable person conclude with the same information?

Sure, but those are legal considerations, not ethical ones.

It's perfectly ethical to form a reasonable conclusion.
It would be different if I said that I thought he was a pedophile because he had bad taste in plastic surgery.

reasonable = having reason = (in this case) having definitive proof = you have none = unethical to speculate on the case.

I'm not suggesting MJ was innocent nor am I suggesting he was guilty. He may even have been a paedophile, which is not criminal as long as he did not have any form of sexual contact with a child, while not being a paederast, which is criminal. This is what his trial suggested and what that kid (the Home Alone one) stated under oath as a witness. This is all we know, the rest is speculation, including the pay-offs (he may have been willing to pay just for a quiet life; remember he was not overly intelligent and he had an equally unintelligent entourage who saw in him the eternal cash cow).

I suggest that all suggestions about him are unethical speculation.

I'm sorta with the devil above me on this one (but that would have been clear).

              You lost me there.

I would not have let a child of mine, male or female, stay at his house without me present at all times. And I am concerned for the children who did.
I have expressed several reasonable reasons for this.
How does his death change anything?

Except that he is not in a condition to feel offended anymore.

Perhaps we are referring to different reasonable conclusions. I would, reasonably I believe, conclude that it'd be better not to have my kids at his place.

Some however, reach the reasonable conclusion that it's good MJ has been removed from the gene pool and has lived way to long.

Exactly right. Pedophilia is a mental illness that is currently incurable and has an extraordinarily high recidivism rate. Add to that the fact that MJ had the resources to defend himself in an extraordinarily effective manner.
I wouldn't send him to the gallows myself on the evidence I have, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over his demise.

And if he is completely innocent?
Well, like I said, he's long past caring what I or his fans think of him now.
