KAILUA, Hawaii — President Barack Obama leaft golf abruptly for a "personal matter." An ambulance sped to the first family’s compound.

Obama's mother died in 1995. Michelle's is still alive though.

Obama was playing golf when reporters who travel with him were quickly assembled for a return to the first family’s neighborhood.

CNN reported that the incident involved a minor injury to an Obama family friend and that no member of the president’s family was injured.

Journalists saw an ambulance speed past with its lights on, heading toward the end of Obama’s street. The ambulance would have passed through a security checkpoint at the end of the street.
