    Al/Tipper Gore divorcing

    Won't post the articles since they all have the usual PR keywords; "amicable", "mutual" etc.

    IMO it likely comes down to there not being enough room in their 2 mansions for Tipper, Al and Al's ego.

      Ever since the news broke they've been showing the file footage of Al and Tipper kissing at the 2000 Democratic Convention. I recall how everyone reacted to the kiss seen 'round the world and how it ranked up there with Jacko and Lisa-Marie's on-air kiss on the "weird sh*t-o-meter." Didn't give it much thought myself.

      But now, seeing it again after all these years, for some reason it really makes my skin crawl.

      Which is a shame because despite your opinion of his politics, Al Gore really does seem like a damned good sport, as evidenced by his work on Futurama.
