Sulphur crested cockataoos and pink and grey galahs are some of the most friendly social birds you will ever find.
They are considered pest in some areas of Australia (seed grain crops)
Anyone who has owned on has sung it the "dance cocky dance"(well kids mainly)
They need no encouragment to dance and sing, they easily learn the words to songs and dance if you are consistant with them.
I don't know what all the fuss is about, though I think its quite cruel to keep individual birds as they are VERY social.
