    Backyard fun

    Playset we built for our grandson;

    and the flood in our wooded area caused by last nights series of supercells, which caused us to have 3 tornado warnings within 5 hours, ending at 3:30 AM, meaning no sleep for grandpa as he stayed up to monitor things

    We bought the hardware kit then took the cut-list to the lumber yard and got what we needed. Took about a day and a half to cut/trim/drill the redwood and assemble. That said; the slide is plastic, but 98% are.

      Nope, my diet hasn't got me there yet and even as small as I've been as an adult would probably be too big as it's made with kiddy-butts in mind

        Currently working on a playset like that too, but going the DIY way instead.. those kits I found to be way expensive

          My Niece and Nephew have a similar set...I was always amazed at my niece going up the rockwall like thing at 18 months old
          Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

            Erik was/is a chip off the old block: he scaled a 50 foot climbing wall at age 10. Still loves doing it, and I'll bet he's on real rock by the time he's in high school - much to Margie's consternation.
