Here we sit in the basement storm shelter, listening to the wind-up radio waiting for the sirens to stop. A 36 mile by 80 plus mile area has warnings of one kind or another with several tornadoes spotted. What got my attention is that the storm tops are rotating all the way up to 65,000 feet (!?!)
Looks like the fun will be around 'til at least 1:00 AM local (7:00 PM now). Drivers are reporting they had to pull over for winds and that they couldn't see past their hoods. 4 foot diameter trees down too. Flood warnings just went up.
Sounds like fun for a while, and it's on a bee-line for Ontario next
