Yet Another Needless Remake -

Warner is remaking The Wizard Of Oz using the original MGM script. It's being developed by Robert. Zemeckis. They have rights to the scropt because MGM was bought by Turner, who in turn was bought out by Warner.

Meanwhile, Disney is working on Oz: The Great And Powerful. It's being developed by Sam Raimi.
