Selling a Snap-On: how much should I ask?

OK you mechanics - help me here....

I've cleaned it up since this was taken. All the drawer slides work fine but I don't have the key.

Have no idea where to find the model number. Ideas? Weighs a ton.

    11 drawer top box

    35 5/8" wide x 21 5/8" deep x 22" high

Well the newer models of what you have run from just over $1,000 to upwards of $2,000. For that matter, even more -- just depends on the model and series.

I imagine you could probably get around $1k for it if you find someone who loves classic Snap-on stuff, but more than likely you're looking at sub-$500.

The wider, roll-around models seem to be worth more in my experience. *sniff* Sold my 54" one when I moved over a decade ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if the serial number is stamped inside one of the drawers.

Do you have a lockpick set, Or a high-speed drill?

Selling it contents-unknown could make it quite a draw at the right auction.

No need to drill it - it's unlocked & empty. Thinking of craigslist or a local trading paper.
