    Liege?

I'll be in Liege for a few hours on Saturday evening, on the way from Austria by coach with Wifey. Is there anything I should make the effort to see/do in the short time we'll have.

    TIA

    Is this Belgium?

Which country in Europe is the most boring?

Where were you in Austria, it's 1h drive from me. I once went on a beer with Wulfman in Vienna. Also was on a beer with Gnep in London some years ago.

It is a nice city (I've been there once), but unfortunately I do no anything about it to recommend things... A few hours is not that much, it might depend where the bus halts...

I've driven through Liege about 12 times and was always glad either not to be there yet or to be through it already. Looked ugly, smelled bad, felt wrong.

I am told that it is actually a nice place once you leave the highway-route-through-town.

        Hope that helps! :d

If you are close: they have a brand now train station, designed by the Spanish architect Calatrava.

Umf: yes, I can understand that comment, but the city does have nice places and has improved a lot over the years.

Have just arrived at the Best Western on the outskirts after a trip that started 11 hours ago. Dinner and bed methinks!

              Cheers
