Look, I didn't have any prepared remarks. I just had that feeling that the CandyMan gets when people say his name... apparently someone posted 'jeez what's next - Gurm posting?'.

That said, everyone is fine. 3 kids now, wife, job, house, cars, cats. All is well. We moved and settled down. "Putting down roots" as it were.

Also, and this may come as a bit of a surprise to everyone, but I've mellowed - the entire "Gurm" persona was a bit of a put-on to begin with, anyway. I was unemployed, kind of depressed, and as you undoubtedly know according to John Gabriel's "Greater Internet ****wad Theory (GIFT)"... well, anyway.

I now have a hard and fast rule about traceable social media posting. And illegal downloads. I have kids to set a good example for, they're on the Internet and can search now, being literate (all of 'em).

Plus it's unprofessional and childish to get into squabbles - politics, religion, etc.

I know - shocking, right? I actually kind of had a hard time writing that first post there. Well, not THAT hard. It is Jimmy Pop Ali's finest work and I'm still a foul-mouthed sailor when I want to be.

I can attest that he's calmed down (and yeah, hey everyone!) I've worked with him at two companies since the 'good old days.' I got him a job at one, he got me the job at the other. When he got...uppity....
