Ford recently said the second installment’s script was the “best thing he’s ever read.” He will reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the film, which originally took place in a dystopian 2019 Los Angeles.

Too bad Rutger Hauer died in that movie...

        Looking so forward to this.

Sean Young is still around. Wonder if she'll be in it? So far Ford is the only cast member on IMDB.

My favorite movie line is from Blade Runner.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've seen C-beams glitter in the darkness near the Taunnhauser gate. All those moment will be lost in time, like tears, in rain. Time to die."

I would hope the new movie could have moments of equal poetic grace, but most reboots lately have been rather mindless drivel. Putting this on the skeptically optimistic list.

And it is not just that line but also the way it was brought and, of course, the story that led to this sorta climax.

Just look at Star Trek. Spock of old was an intellectual and diplomat who solves problems by coming up with clever solution or talking to people to get them to do the right thing.

New Spock is an action hero who solves problems in fist fights.
