Q: writing USA instructions for some pastry machine

Hi,

I'm writing USA market cleaning instructions for some pastry machine. Found USA analogue.
The machine and parts to be cleaned is made from stainless steel.

Where they use the following brush.

Writing just use brush is probably not enough. I'd have to say at least "not abrasive" if not "plastic/polymer...". What would be the best way to describe brush like that without walking onto a minefield of being to specific.

It's analog in the US We don't add all the unnecessary bits in America.

Not all toilet bowl brushes are straight like that. Some are circular and would likely not work.

You can say non-abrasive like a toilet bowl brush but you run the risk of people trying to use the wrong kind.

We'd call that a large nylon bottle brush, but it also looks like an espresso machine urn brush.

Another question:

What about tap water / drinking water.

The machine should be connected to tap water - is that OK?
