              There are a few apps that can record Netflix. This is the more popular one.

              Though they use the browser which can limit resolution to 720p. Depending on how the app records the stream.

                      A $20 HDMI splitter sends the signal from the source (Roku , net connected BR deck etc.) to a display and the recorder.

                      A Chinese HDML HDMI Cloner box decodes then records to a USB. Early firmware builds split long recordings into 2g .mp4 files, but a recent upgrade supports NTFS formatted cards. Now using 64g SD's.

                      The Cloner Pro has a built in splitter with passthrough to the TV, USB-to-TV, a remote, cables and supporting software.
