From what I read on Mandrake's page somewhere, those wizards ARE installed if you buy one of the Mandrake packages. It's just not set up that way on the download version. Go figure. As far as windows being easier than Mandrake...... Well that's just a matter of opinion. Some things I will say that windows is easier, and other things I'll say linux is easier. But it very much depends on which distro you're installing. For instance, if you're installing Debian, then it's quite a bit more difficult to configure it. Whereas something like Redhat (haven't tried 7.2 yet, but 7.1 was a peice of cake) and Mandrake are geared more towards the desktop users.
By the way, for anyone interested, the package for using samba within Nautilus on Debian is called gnome-vfs-extfs just use 'apt-get install gnome-vfs-extfs' if you have the apt source set up right. Laters
