I'm collecting information on various business models that use open systems (GPL, Open Audio License, etc) and how well they are doing. Of course there are all the distributors of Linux flavors, then jBoss' new certification thingy and IBM's servers, but what else?
Open systems help creativity, but I think that we'll need more creative ways to make money too. I'm trying to build a case to get those who are on the fence but feel that there isn't an economic incentive.
