Originally posted by The AngeL I love this OS. I only wait for Adobe Photoshop 8.0 Linuxversion and then i ll kick my win2k out of my PC.
btw, what's wrong with gimp :-) can just do almost everything that adobe photoshop can... although the interface, i agree, is a little rusty, i heard it will improve in gimp 1.4 though..

Oh.. Gimp is really good, but if they don't make a move to design better the menus like a proffesional Programm, i ll use photpshop again. The look and feel @ Gimp is the same as Using e.g Borland's c++ Builder.

Once I get time -- stupid homework -- I'll be able to compile XFree86, GNOME, etc on my Linux From Scratch system. Hopefully I can get video capture and everything working right. I also have Mandrake 8.1, but I'm not really using it anymore.
My only beef with GIMP is not being able to have the cursor change sizes with paint brush sizes. Sadly it is a limitation that can't be fixed until 2 AFAIK. It makes it really hard to do work when you have to guesstimate where the edges are going to be.
