Which live cd distro should I choose?

It appears that I'll have to live some time without hdd...

So I figured out that live cd Linux distribution is the best way to remain "operational"

Basically I'd just like to have acces to web pages, media playing and instant messaging (jabber will be sufficient - although I use also for example gg, there are transports for that)...and all this in non-bloated os, with the "light" feel to it...I would also HATE approach with many applications serving the same purpose - I only want what's useful (btw: I'm just a windows user wanting to download live cd for emergency purposes).
some not very typical hardware that I have:
G400 16mb sh
Aureal Vortex sq2500
It would also be great if I could use Logitech QuickCam Express usb (even if only for image/video capture - but of course smaller(well...perhaps cutted to pieces) than 1,44mb...or alternatively I'd just send it somewhere...) and perhaps (I don't think that I'll have to...but just in case) HP Deskjet 930c (connected via usb).
oh, and I have also simple Logitech optical mouse with wheel (is wheel still a problem sometimes?)

and one limiting factor (I think): 128mb of ram (eventually 192, but since the 64 stick I have is only pc100 I would have to throttle back AXP1700+ to 100MHz fsb/lower clock - anyway not much a difference for this use I guess...)

I've dug a little, and came with couple choices...would you recommend me one of these please?
1) some version of Morphix - I'm thinking about Morphix LightGUI with icewm or perhaps Morphix HeavyGUI with Gnome (will Morphix Game have any use for me with G400? of course I don't even dream of playing ut2k3 demo...but q3 would be some fun...)
2) Dyne:bolic - I'm considering this because it's presumably for some audio work - and I think that thanks to this I'll have better chances for using my soundcard...
3) ByzantineOS - this shurely looks minimalistic, but is it enough?
4) Damn Small Linux - or maybe even this would do good?

and the last thing: I would like to watch some movies/listen to music, but I have only one drive...will cd swaping work with above ones or will I have to use MoviX for this purpose?

Based on my experience with Knoppix, i'd say you can't swap media. Knoppix keeps a lock on the bootdrive all the time. Morphix is a Knoppix derivate and as such likely to behave likewise. Can't say anything about Dynebolic, don't know it, sorry.

Well, if you're lucky and have a CD-burner plus a DVD player, Morphix kicks ass. I was just trying it out on my mother's computer, to show her linux, and it runs pretty great. I didn't try the media swap, so not sure if that'll work or not. But she has a G400 (actually a Marvel G400) but it detected it perfectly and happily loaded up X Windows. Your mouse and printer should work with no problems, I'm not so sure about the quick cam. Not so sure either about the Aureal sound card either. The one I tried out is the "HeavyGUI" one with Gnome 2.2 and openoffice.

Edit: Oh yeah, take a look at the wallpaper that Morphix uses.... it almost just SCREAMS that it should work with a Parhelia, though I haven't tested this myself yet....
