Backup Linux Server and Clients

Hi,

I know some of you are linux professionals so I would like to ask what backup software you recommend for backing-up a linux server (with tape drive) and some linux/windows clients remotely from the server?

I've looked at some products and would prefer arkeia followed by bru, tapeware and arcserve.

Do you have any suggestions or things I should consider?

Have you seen Veritas Backup Exec?
We've been using it succesfully for ~2years (runs on Win2K) to backup Win2K, Linux & Solaris machines on our office LAN.
