So, how does the OGL work? Does for example ut2003 run? Is there still corruption? Is xvideo supported or not?

        /me is curious

xdpyinfo only tells you what extensions are loaded, not if the driver supports it. xvinfo, on the other hand, tells you what you need to know, which in this case is that it's not supported

You need to email cad-support@matrox.com to request for Linux OpenGL driver.

By the way, the private FTP is dead? Directory is empty

            And thanks Leech!

Directory not empty for me. They added a .run file to go with the Pro OpenGL drivers. Strange...

Seeing as I presently am not running Linux on my Parhelia box, I'm not able to check.

Now have a dedicated linux box...

Just received the link via email (after a day of waiting) and it worked, altough I had to refresh my browser before I could download the readme-pro.txt file.

                  No problem dude.

Now time to burn RH9 and test it out with that....And if I don't like it, I'll go back to Libranet and try it again... haven't had much luck so far :-(

Guess what, it works under FreeBSD!!!
Now Ima very happy, very happy indeed!!
After my FreeBSD made redundant for over six months since I purchased the Parhelia, I can now actually use it instead of RedHat!!!

                    Harray!!

Saying that, dualhead still does work for my setup. (crt + crt + tv)
Second head is routed to the TV instead of the monitor

'urpmi kernel-source' should work for installing the source. That should be pretty much all you'd need, except of course if you don't happen to have gcc installed.
