  • Sound Card in Red Hat 9

Here's the pooper scooper ... I discovered that Red Hat 9 has the SB Extigy (USB sound card) drivers there. They are loaded via whatever tool Red Hat uses to detect hardware. Now comes the problem. The device is there, but I can't use it.

The default, built-in, Intel sound chip is set as the default sound card and I don't know how to switch it to the Extigy.

    Any ideas?

Is there any way to disable it in the control panel?

There's a Control Panel in Red Hat? I haven't been able to find any place that lists all the hardware and has the ability to enable, disable, etc.
