Samba issues?

I've been running a Samba server for quite sometime, but every time I reboot any of the windows machines that connects to the samba server, the mapped samba drive appears to be disconnected (despite the fact that i tell it to reconnect on logon). When I put in my user/pass, it works out fine.

How can I fix it?

Are the windows accounts/pass are exactly the same as the samba accounts?
