Myth Tv and dvb-s card.

Just ordered a Twinhan 1020a dvb-s card and wondered if anyone has had any luck using this card with Myth-tv.
Any general comments about myth tv would also be appreciated.
I have a spare computer sitting around and I like the look of Myth-tv, but from what I have read it is a PITA to get working 100%.
I have very limited knowledge of Linux, but can get around if I need to.

Gave up trying, too many issues.
I just loaded up Mytheatre on win xp and a few hours later I was saving mpg movie files for burning to DVD.

I just cross checked and MythTV is for analog TV cards only, ie. all WinTV cards based on the BT chip.

didn't have too much luck with progdvb,
I tried mytheatre for a while, but it was a bit slow.
but ritzdvb works like a charm.
and amazingly I can get channels from commercial providers


FYI, there are folks that have mythtv working for some DVB cards, but they are obviously more Linux-savy than myself.
too bad, I really liked the interface.

as far as I know, you could use basically every media player, as long as you have those DVB drivers and VDR installed.

there are even a few web-based frontends for remote access via HTTP and other neat stuff that I'm missing on Windows.

It offers a complete package for watching DVB from one boot CD and stems from a famous German computer magazine (CT)

Honestly, I have no clue if that is an international (english) version or if it's german only.
