Overall nice. Works with the X800 XT PE which earlier versions wouldn't do properly even with the standard vesa driver.
Why they sell two versions, the upgrade and the full I don't know as the upgrade allows you to do a clean install anyway.
The package comes on 5 cd's and two DVD's with a nice big manual. The only problem is that the manual presumes the graphical interfaces work all the time which we all know they don't. So when your looking for a command line instruction which you've forgotten you have to google for it. It's more a beginners guide than a administrators guide.
The most amusing bit was the inbuilt firewall that failed to enable the ports for Samba even though you ticked the box for it.
Since the firewall got bugs I decided to turn it off and depend on the router firewall.
Tried using Konstruct to upgrade KDE to the latest build which failed due to missing directorys. I guess Konstruct doesn't understand Suse installs. I then decided to see if Suse had actually put the update on the ftp site by changing the software source update to point at it and bingo they had. So I've now got KDE 3.3.2 rather than 3.3.0.
Suse haven't mentioned the fact yet.
Now I believe I need special drivers from ATI for the Suse distro since it uses Xorg rather than Xfree for it's graphical drivers. I'm told that they're supposed to be compatable with each other but I can remember Anandtech needing special drivers to get his Suse to work.
