  • Anyone using muse and icecast?

I'm trying to setup a icecast server on a G3. Ices isn't available for PPC in Gentoo, but muse is more powerful anyways.

My problem is that I can't get muse to connect to icecast when not logged in as root. Not sure if I need to change permissions somewhere.

Icecast is just an open source version of shoutcast.

Icecast is the streaming server part that handles connections.

Ices or Muse are the parts that handle the music and feeds it into icecast. There is a xmms plugin to do it, but I don't use a GUI on the G3 server.
