Hello,
Similar question as before, only now for a Promise SW4300. I downloaded the drivers from the promise website (they are for Suse 9.2, but it is also kernel 2.6), and succeeded in installing the driver (no error messages).
But now what?
Do I need to insmod it? What is it called? How do I get it to do this at startup? What are the dev-names of my partition?
edit1: the install script learned me that the module is called napa.ko, and it also performs an insmod. But in that case, I see now entries in /dev that may point to my partitions...
edit2: there also is a partial source code (dunno why it is called "partial", the make instructions are pretty clear), so I'm now trying this route...
Thanks!
Jörg
