In response to your question about the Q3A version, I never bothered updating it because I rarely play Q3A, but I can patch it to the latest and retest if you wish, it won't make any difference

I'm not saying that you couldn't, I am just considering the chance of 2 different people doing q3a tests with those freaking high scores on such an old version... my conclusion is that the chance is too small to be a coincedence. Which means... (fill in the true answer yourself ).

It's the original version that is installed when popping the Q3A CD in the drive. That's why. I can upgrade it, it won't make any difference, really it won't. It won't matter what game or app you give me to benchmark video performance with, it will smoke anything out there right now
Take it how you want it. Obviously some take it personal, some take it with a grain of salt. Get the salt lick out if you want.

I would imagine since both Mike and I don't really care too much for Q3A, we see no need to upgrade.

Himself, the point is, the game doesn't have to be optimized for HW T&L. Don't you get it? Puting it on HW T&L drops the score slightly
