Has anyone tried playing revolt. You can turn on the frame rate under video options. Can you please post average for "Toys in the Hood" at 1024x768x16bit. I get around 19 fps.

1024x768x32bits with HRAA and all eye candies on: 105 FPS
Oh, I forgot to mention I've a GeForce 3...
With a G400 O/Ced @175core/233mem, I was getting 25 FPS at that resolution with all eye candies on (without Antialiasing)

Ok I would love to have a Geforce too but unfortunately I have my G400 Matrox Marvel which is great at lots of other things. When I set filtering to linear I get about 45fps in re-volt and the quality is not too bad. Porche on the other hand runs really slow with more than 3 opponents.
I was thinking of running a Geforce2mx pci beside the Matrox. Any ideas if that will work well?

I suggest you STAY AWAY from the GeForce 2 MX... First, if you want a faster 3D card NOW that does much of what the Marvel G400 does, you could look for a ATI AIW Radeon... But if I were you, I would wait to see what Matrox has in reserve for us (CEBIT starts tomorrow...)
All we can do now is wait and see...

Like I said I would just run the mx in a pci slot beside the matrox, however I would like to find out more about the twinview card (ie. if it has dvd max? and quality of video out). Perhaps I could drop the Matrox and use a studio dv+ card for editing. I will still be able to capture analogue via the av inputs in my dv camera?

jbalat, with Porche you mean NFS: Porsche?
If yes, then you might try downloading this file and placing it into the NFS porsche\drivers directory (overwrite the one that's already there). It turns off fog and makes the game run much better.
It works for Ati Radeons, too.Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.
