You see guys, the CPU has a lot to do with 3D performance; By changing the Celeron 1133 with a P3 800 @ 1200 (150MHz FSB), I get a 1050 increase...

Sisyfos, I see your the lucky owner of an AXIA...

On a other note, you must have made some tweaks to your system aside the G400 overclock, because you managed to get a %10 increase out a %6 O/C . . .
What I find more disturbing is the fact that you get %50 more than Paul did, yet none of your numbers are over %30 faster, your cpu is %20 faster than his, your G400 %6, and that no O/C translates into a direct and full performance gain...

Anyway, something's coming, I can smell it from here... the G550 ? Nope, it's the baby...

          Take care,
          Francis

I didn't do any tweaks other than the MAX oc, but don't overlook the SDRAM/SGRAM Optimization, I guess with those it translates to more than 6%.

But, to be true I had the UD Cancer thingy running behind both tests, so I guess I introduced some variables. I'll try to rerun them without it.

AXIA is nice I'm pumpin' it 'till it's blue in the core .

                  Hey,
Could anyone having in his/her possession some kind of TCFKAG800NKAG550 could post a live picture (so we can be sure of that result) of his GLExcess/GLMark/3D Mark 2001 so we can have some kind of idea about the targetted market for that TCFKAG800NKAG550... I know that there must be some TCFKAG800NKAG550 boards out there, so you, yes you in the blue lab coat, show us you got big brass balls and enlighten us... Even if the TCFKAG800NKAG550's performance is sub-Virge-VX... although that would be THOUGH (I mean, VERY THOUGH) to beat

With all the upcoming competition like the Kyro 3 + 4, GeForce 3 MX, GeForce 4 (which will probably be the name of the NV30), Radeon 2 and Columbia, it would be nice to know what's going on at the company that will sell TCFKAG800NKAG550 boards... WTH, I now know more about S3 Graphics' and ST's upcoming products than I do about that special company we all love and cherish (in a PLATONIC way you perv )

"You must always face the consequences of your actions, but if possible, put the blame on that weird little guy..."

                  Francis,
