Who is General Failiure and why is he reading my drive?
---------------------- Powercolor Radeon 9700np, Asus A7N8X mobo bios ver. 1007UBER, AthlonXP2800+@3200+ (200 Mhz fsb, 2.2 Ghz) on TT Silent Storm, 2*256Mb Kingston HyperX PC3500 DDR-RAM, 19" Samsung 959NF monitor, Pioneer A04 DVD-RW, Two WD800 80 GB HDD's, IBM Deskstar 40 GB
I have only got generic ram so i have to use normal memory timings. I do get Up to a FSB of 145 with no problem, i think the processor has topped out at 1.59GHz. I have brought it down to 1.54GHz now(140 fsb), the heat that it produced was amazing - it was at 50 degrees C. In the VIA hardware monitoring util it set the alarm going, it was still stable but i thought that it was too hot.
I haven't had any stability problems, i did get kicked out of Quake3 after 1 and a 1/2 hours although i was still able to use the os - all the colours were washed out..
