I can go higher but these are my everyday stock system settings for gaming and work.
Your fillrate results are consistant with an OC'd card....that leads me to believe that you are, in fact, OC'd...

      K6-III,
How do I overclock this card? The latest version of Powerstrip I used when I had the 9700 in this system did not support the card. Sorry if you do not like the scores. Maybe I should try the card in one of my RDRAM systems to get a higher 3DMark.

p.s. If I overclock I state the fact-

      9700

hmm this is interesting you rig is immense but that score is off the planet, can you check your pins to see if the card is clocked at above the normal retail speed?maybe you got some kind of golden beta with higher clocks. have you tried o/cing it then i think you could maybe get 10000 out of it.

dont hack your bios till you know your card can take the increased frequency otherwise you may not be able to boot or reset the bios to what it was, if you really want to bios hack then do it when you are sure of your cards abilities

                borat,

What pins do I check? I downloaded the MGA tweak utility but is does not list core/memory speeds. It will only list a percentage scale that I assume is the amount you are able to overclock over the stock settings. However, if you go too high how do you revert back to stock settings?

Just do a pinsdump to determine your clockspeed per the instructions in the bioshack link...

Another thing....remove line 12...it is your serial number....

                        K6-III,
Thanks for the tip on the S/N. I was browsing the forums and learned about the "underclocked" cards tonight. I will overclock the card tomorrow and try for better "benchmark" scores.

When I upgrade to Barton or TBred-B....I'll be able to compete with you....

....or when the temp gets to -20F here, I can just open the windows for a few hours, crank up that vcore to 2.2v....and see what happens....(of course I'll be wearing gloves and be properly clothed for said attempt)....

I guess I will have to move the Parhelia over to my 2.8 system running at 3.4 (RDRAM) in order to catch-up.
I will try the MGA Tweak program. Is 10% a good number to start at with this card? I am disappointed in some ways that the card is "underclocked" at this point.
I am very happy with the performance and image quality. The main reason I have the card is for surround gaming and photoshop usage.

Start with 1 or 2% and then move up slowly. Jumping in with 10% might not work.

Hmm, it's good to see that the P scales well with CPU speed, gives a nice long shelf-life.

Will run up 3DMark tonight, and see what I get, should be around 7500, from what I see here.
