Hardware geeks probably have been expecting the new version of the most popular benchmark for graphics cards since the RADEON 9700 PRO made its appearance in August last year. Well, now we all expect the GeForce FX launch, but our desire to get the new benchmarking software is also very strong.

Another reason to use linux MPlayer played the file without a hitch

Looked pretty cool, now I just need to swap my gf2mx for some newer card and all is well

Guru, extract the "WM9Codecs.exe" file with winrar or something else and run the "setup_wm.exe" file (or the WMFSDK.inf file, that's what I did) then download this mediaplayer

Oh, and I'm sure that it will have magnificient looks - all the Remedy/Futuremark/MadOnion releases had great and very stylish looks. That still doesn't remove the bias in the benchmark for whomever pays the most...
