Marvel G400 TV - more questions

I am on the run to buy a Marvel G400 TV,
but before, I have to ask the experts here ?

1.
as I remember resolution/ color depth restrictions on the older mystique/RR combos,
are you able to have a 1280x1024/
64k color/85 Hz desktop and get the full
PAL video-in resolution ?

2.
any TESTED/FUNCTIONAL tools/progs/tweaks out there to fool Macrovision ?
I really would like to dump some DVD's to
S-VHS for watching via the big TV screen in my livingroom. And no, i don't want to
apply a 30m connection from the Marvel breakout box to the TV.

Can't help you with those G400 questions,
but re that 30m connection check out
DVD Anywhere from <A HREF="www.x10.com"> www.X10.com</A>
I've got one of those, and one of the Radio Shack clones, The X-10 works better for me.

Hi Gerhard,

Unfortunately it doesn't work at 2048x1536x32bit, and I have to take the colour depth down to 16bit at that resolution to use the videoediting features

1600x1200x32bit works fine though
