I am curious as to how well the audio sync does for long captures, especially after going past the 2 GB hiccup when you drop frames opening the next AVI file.

Does AVI_IO capture fix the dropped frames problem and any audio sync problems?

          Hi DaddyBay

AVI_IO does not drop frames when going from one file to the other. You are right too regarding the AV/sync. AVI_IO re-synchronizes video and audio during capture.

I took the plunge . . . can't wait for the G400+RRG combo, so . . . ordered the Marvel G400. Thanks to DaddyBay for the info on MSP from egghead. Being able to replace Avid Cinema made the choice a lot easier. Lookin' forward to installing the Marvel.
