Playing RRS-MJPEGs with Marvel G400?

Hi folks,
I'm currently thinking about upgrading to a Marvel G400. Will I be able to play my old Mystique/RRS-MJPEG files with the new Marvel without converting them?

Hi Thorsten,

I am able to play MJPEG videos made with my RRS on my Marvel G-200. As I understand it, the video capture/playback part of the G-400 is the same as the G-200, so I would be inclined to believe that you should have no problem playing your RRS videos on a new G-400 Marvel.

One thing to keep in mind is that the RRS uses field order A, while the Marvel G-200 (and I assume G-400) uses field order B. This can cause problems if you try to edit clips from the RRS together with clips from the Marvel.

Now, that's great news! Thanks for the info. I think I'll buy a new Marvel as soon as they hit the shops here in Germany.
