G200 Mystique Black & White

Please can someone out there help... I've been wrestling with this problem
for months and have got no joy from Matrox, newsgroups etc..etc.......

I have a G200 Mystique - when I play an AVI file the output to the TV is
black & white!!
If I enable the TV output in Matrox Display Properties I get the usual
crappy picture with black borders - but it is full colour, then as soon as I
play back a file the TV reverts to black & white (although the picture
quality improves no end and becomes full screen)...

I know other people have had this problem as I've seen them on various sites
but there seem to be no solutions available.

(I am using a Rainbow Runner G Series with the Mystique but I am sure the
problem is with the Mystique)..


My appreciation will know no bounds if you can fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably a hardware fault (you're not the first). I have a Marvel G200 which I can rma whenever I want to, but since I need my card I don't ...

Exaclty the same problem as you have.
