I read somewhere that some digital camcorders have a'progressive scan' mode and that shooting in this mode results in higher quality video for desktop use. If i remember correctly this is because frames are not interlaced.
Can anyone tell me more about this or point to some info on the web? Do all digi cams come with this option? Is it better? How does it work? Is it for both PAL and NTSC
