  • Sony's funmail Cam,can Premiere use this capture card?

I have a sony Funmail cam (can't find there web site www.funmail.com) and the capture card. The card is not your usual USB nor serial connection. It has a composite connection which I can get movies clip off the TV or my camcorder. My question is : Will Premiere work with such card if someone ever tried? Or how can I set up Premiere to recognize this card? Since the Funmail capture card has a Composite input,it just my though to get a cheap man edit card to play around.
    Thanks for all the inputs.

Premiere, and most other software, would only work if the Funmail is Video for Windows compatable. The documentation should tell this.

Are you considering buying Premiere to use with the FunMail? If you already have it then fine, but otherwise it's a bit like mating a Porsche body with a Pinto engine: you can do it but why?

If you're buying an editor then consider Uleads VideoStudio 4, which comes out sometime in the next two weeks at about $100.

It's powerful enough for family use and can also be used with the new generation of capture cards and digital camcorders if you decide to update.
