Problem with G400 DH Max RRG and MSP 5.2

I have many problem with MSP 5.2 (VE)

My system is:
MOBO Asus P3BF
Celeron 433 MHZ (No overclock)
128 MB RAM PC100
Creative SB Live! value with LiveWare 3.0
Matrox G400 DH Max With Powerdesk 5.25
Rainbow Runner G Series With VidTools 1.51
DVD Pioneer 103
CD Writer HP 7100i
HD Quantum UDMA 33 4.3 GB
HD Maxtor UDMA 33 7.1 GB
Win 98 Second Edition

The problem is:
When I try to Load MSP 5.2 it stops loading at 50%, than the only thing that I can do is
switch off the computer. This happens very often. I tried to istall and uninstall the programm a lot of times but I still have the same problem. When the program is successful loaded it stops after loaded clips or manipolate it with message: this progam executed....... (Win98 message).
Can anybody give me any idea to solve this problem?

A couple of questions;

Do you have Quicktime 4.0 installed? MSP doesn't work with QT4, only with QT3.

Did you install MSPro before or after the RRG drivers? I've had better luck installing MSPro 5.x before the Video Tools.

Otherwise I'd probably just uninstall it, reboot and then try again.

I've forgot that, in my configuration there is also a Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo 2.
I removed the voodoo 2 but the problem is the same.

so,
I have only QT 3.0 installed.

I tried to uninstall RRG, reboot and install again; now the problem appear more rarely but during loading, the program stops at 70 %. In this case is possible close the application with ctrl+alt+del.
When manipulate the clip, I have the same problem, more rarely but irritating.... (This program..... etc.)....

I've seen the same problem with an older Mistique 220 + Rainbow Runner.

With this configuration:
MOBO Asus P5A
AMD K6-2 300 MHZ
128 MB RAM PC100
SB Live! value With LiveWare 2.1
Mistique 220 with Driver 4.33
Rainbow Runner With vidTool 2.10

The problem during loading is the same but when the program is loaded is stable.

I got no more ideas......

Is this a MSP problem?....
Is this a SB Live! problem?
Are driver G400 Max 5.25 and RRG VidTool 1.51 driver problems?

The configuration is all OK, no conflict, All the other application installed are 32 bit native....

I too have problems with MSP 5.2 (pro though)

im having a hell of a time using the scratchpad, it locks the system up

i am using a marvel g400 and all the correct drivers

could it be because i have quicktime 4 installed???????
