Any event/corporate videographers out there?

I am a film student who wishes to eat real food most of the time, so i have decided that since the cost of computers have dropped and that digital video looks great for most low-mid budget productions, i will begin what i hope will be a long healthy career as a commercial / music video producer by starting a business doing weddings, coporate videos, etc. From their working my way into the deep pocket markets. (And doing low budget digital video shorts and features to market my directing talent (or lack thereof))

Anyone else out there? Anyone know where i can find other appropriate message boards for event/corporate videograpers? Anyone in the wisconsin area need a camerman, grip, etc?
