Just an idea...
One of the problems that we are sometimes confronted with is potential conflicts between sound and video cards. I'm throwing this idea at you guys, without knowing whether it is technically feasible or not, but...
How about an AGP card à la Marvel (or RT-2000) which offers graphics, video and sound all together on a single IRQ and a single card? The BOB could then have, as well as the video, things like mic. in, line in, line out, headphone and loudspeaker jacks (possibly even a joystick, although I think this is not essential to most pure video buffs), as well as what it has now. This way, we would have one company to address if it caused conflicts !!!
