I can confirm that the DC10+ captured from "Pocahontas" without a problem. For sanity as well as copyright reasons this footage has now been deleted.
But unless you have a massive HD and are prepared to settle for a huge compression ration you won't be able to copy the whole movie to HD since the DC10 Studio software doesn't allow more than 2Gb to be captured at one time.
I have got a dc10+ now, and i can confirm that it works with avi i/o. But it doesn`t show incomming video in fullscreen. The studio dc10+ software that comes with the card doesn`t do fullscreen either. That is quite annoying if you want to watch video on your computer(The g400 marvel does that great). Besides that it is a great card. If you want to copy a protected video, you dont even have to record the video the harddrive,- the dc10+ works like a realtime decoder(if you have 2 video recorders).
HI all! I also just got the Marvel G400-TV and would like to record small clips from a variety of tapes/DVD's etc. SUN...could you please email the latest macrovision patch my way at: rad1701@tir.com
THANKS SUN! Keep up the GREAT work. Also, anyone know if it is or will be possible to use the Matrox TurboGL driver with anything less than a Pent.III??
