  • TV tuner problems & audio out noise

    Hi from France

Since I've got my RR-G I try lot of things to make TV tuner run.
For information, it runs just the first time I installed the card.
Now, always the same message : tuner not detected.
With the newest bios (1.6) and driver (5.30) it seems to be better, my tuner is detected but it doesn't works. No channels are detected, just some sound.

Another strange thing : my RR-G audio out delivers a lot of noise when tuner isn't activated under VCR (video input). And when I close the VCR, I could always hear TV sound in the noise.

What's the hell. Card is down or power supply problems, or ?

    (my power supply is 250W 5v 0.5A, 12V 0.5A, but I haven't test it to verify)

    Motherboard is ASUS P2B-S
    sound card SB 128 PCI
    U2W SCSI IBM drive
G200 (IRQ 11 and IRQ steering) : no conflict
    SB128PCI IRQ 10

    Many thanks

      Design238,

make sure that you scan in the channels. run the auto scan, in tv setup, and select the correct tv input.

if you still hear audio from vcr even after closing the pc-vcr then turn off the vcr to close the sound.
