1. In the old driver (4.x)and videotools there was easy to crack. The rrapi.dll and the vcap16.dll
/both dll are from videotools install/ responsible for the input macrovision detection /rrapi for the videotools capture, vcap16 for the ms vidcap type capture/. In the new drivers v5.x and videotools (v1.50b and v1.51) these two files exist in videotools, and the drivers composition is same as in the old one. The crack was not easy but was not impossible.
2. In the old driver (4.x) contains the file mgallx64.dll. This dll was responsible the output macrovision signal generating. The old driver was crackable. But the new drivers v5.x are merged G200 and G400 (g200dd32.dll and g400dd32.dll).At this time I couldn't crack these files.
3. Some dvd player softwares with "little" help supports the tv out macrovision protection disable. Eg.: Windvd
The matrox generates the macrovision signal but the player requests this function. You must kill the player = kill the macrovision.
Try windvd or other software dvd player with an region selector program.
