  • MARVEL G400 TV editing crashes.

I just get my Marvel G400 TV from yesterday and I'm already going crazy.

This is my problem desctiption :

    - Capturing video with PC-VCR : OK
    - Using Avid Cinema : OK

    - Using Premiere 5.1 (My favorite !): Ok during approx 1 minute then crash
    - Using Ulead MSP 5.20 : SAME crash than with Premiere

    This my config :

    Pentium III 500 Mhz
    128 Mb ram
    SB Live Platinum
    MPEG2 Holywood +

    Windows 98 1st and 2nd editions ( I tried twice )

    I tried many versions of video drivers ( 1.20, 1.25, 1.30, 1.41) and I tried 2 versions of vidtools ( 1.50 and 1.51 )....no way...the same crash remain !

This is the crash message ( translated from French, my language ):

Alert box with red sign :

"This program will be stopped since it does a no conform operation"

    and

"PREMIERE made a page default in module RRICMEXT.DLL at 016f:06866d60"

    plus many registers.

    With Ulead MSP 5.20, I get :

"VEDITOR made a page default in module RRICMEXT.DLL at 016f:06866d60"

The only thing I found is that RRICMEXT.DLL is a part of VidTools.

I reinstall all things, drivers, softs and windows itself and...the bug remains the same.

I anybody can help me !!
Than you in advance and please excuse my poor English.

It is a problem that Matrox is aware of... hopefully it will be fixed soon.

do a search for RRICMEXT.DLL for more info...
