Marvel g400 Vidpres?

I just installed my new marvel g400, and have an error I can't figure out. Every time I try to set up the properties for tvvcr, vidpres gives me an usupported operation attempted. The main reason I picked this card is the ability to timer record tv programs. I'm not sure what's going on here, if someone has a clue, an explanation would be apprciated. If you need any additional information, just let me know. Thanks.

I have a sneaking suspicion, that I am going to have to reinstall windows 98. After looking at some old posts, that looks like the best option. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know.

I seem to have it working, just unistalled and reloaded the video tools. If there is any resource not listed on this site that someone would suggest for a beginner in vidcaping, feel free to suggest it. Thanks everyone.
