mpeg in Premier
I have a movie I got of the net. I thought it would be cool to import it into premier and change some stuff but it dosen't recognize the format so I can't load it in. Is it possible?

Try Premier 5.x, tho even that version its still a crap shoot as Adobe does not support the mpeg format.

Premiere version 5.1C was just released yesterday so check that.
Panasonic makes an MPEG plugin for Premiere that runs about $80 USD.
