Did you reinstall your display drivers and Video Tools after swapping in the Athlon gear? Likewise did you reinstall DirectX and Mediaplayer when you changed over?

i have athlon500/asusk7M ..
when i tried to RECORD tv OR CAPTURE VIDEO FOOTAGE from VCR
ima getting "VIDPRESS-unable to read the file" whereas..it is able to capture .BMP files
earlier my G200-TV was doing proper capture from tv/VCR with celeron 333

can some one pl provide solution

i have not installed MEDIA PLAYER
it was already there
but i set the jumper setting enabled for sound in my ASUS K7M
surprise..the capture worked
i feel mine is NTSC(bought in U.S.
so when i set TV TUNER to PAL..no capture
is there ANY TWEAK avilable for GETTING pal done in NTSC so that i can SEE TV in colour.
now things IN TV are B & W white to me
any takers for TWEAKING
