Is Titanic protected by macrovision ?

If it was, it didn't help much against the iceberg.

Maybe the captain had tunnel vision...
Resistance is futile - Microborg will assimilate you.

            CKJ,

I just checked this against the copy of Titanic that my daughter got for Xmas

Yes, I'm afraid that it IS macrovision encoded.

You can find Suns MV disabled drivers for VT1.51 on the downloads page. No warranty implied or given.

Since its the biggest grossing movie of all time, and one of the most popular of recent times... ummm yes i would guess so.

There's a pacth you can get somewhere to disable it in powerdesk. Try a search through the forums with the word 'Macrovision'

Ive always thought it amusing to be unable to capture macrovision videos.

After all, no one in there right mind would capture a whole video...
(well id rather do more things with my gigs, i dont know about you)

and if your gonna use clips of a movie its only for fun, and those serious enough about it to do it in some professional mannor will wasily find a way around it anyway :O)

still its a pain when it comes to ease of use
              anyhow...
              MERRY XMAS TO YOU ALL!!!!
