Does anyone know of an encoder which can take multiple files and encode them into a single mpg? would be great for those MJPEG .AVI's that are split up into 2gb each

iFilmedit sounds nice. It's a 4.4 mb download, though. Is the trial version crippled in any way? I need to stitch together a couple of BIG mpeg files and I'd hate to download it and find it's limited to 5 seconds file size or so...
Resistance is futile - Microborg will assimilate you.

Bad luck. The trial version is so crippled (5 minute clips) that I can't try if it handles these large files. Too bad, guys! You lost a potential buyer.

          Dutch,

I haven't tried this myself, but it was posted to the forum here. I can't find the post now but I'm sure someone else will remember exactly how it wortked.

Try using the DOS COPY command with a plus sign between each of the input filenames.

Ifilmedit joins mpg1 files just nicely
            I have joined 30Mb and 200+Mb ones.
            Demo short and no audio
But I don't use it for edit, I do all that in avi before converting.

For mpeg2, use free bbmpeg program. It can take several avi files on input and make one mpeg2.

for mpegs of any type, Pixeltools Mpegrepair can do correct joining of files into one with correct duration.
